This week we have an “upside down” runner, Armindo! 🙂 #afazeropinopelomundo

In how many Run4Achild editions/challenges did you participate in?
Being one of the developers of this project, which I really enjoyed, I’ve participated in all 7 editions and I am also participating in this current one. This time to help Mozambique children with anti-covid kits and food baskets.
Do you enjoy participating in the Run4aChild initiatives?
For sure. By doing such an easy thing like running or walking we are able to help others which is very rewarding.
Tell us about your personal experience in the Run4aChild challenges.
As a team captain, I’m always checking my team members progress and pushing them, when necessary, to achieve our team challenge goal.
How did you feel when you completed a challenge?
It’s a good achievement sensation, not because of the level of difficulty but mainly because I know that once I complete my individual challenge I’m already helping someone.
Do you think Run4aChild had/has a positive impact in your life? How?
Yes, it did. Helping others has boosted my happiness, health and sense of well-being.
Were there any changes in your lifestyle thanks to your participation?
I was already a runner, so it hasn’t impacted much with regards to my fitness level, but this was yet another way to stay motivated specially on those rainy and cold days.
What is your biggest motivation to join this cause?
They say children are the future. So nothing better than to save our future by helping them.
Would you recommend taking part in the initiative to anyone?
Definitely! I just wish I could invite more friends to join my team!
Do you have any advice for Run4aChild future runners?
Just try it… and don’t give up too soon. Remember all the children you could be helping. You can start by just walking… or you mix walking and running… but just do it! 🙂
Will you join us in the next challenge?
For sure! Keep them coming!

Thank you Armindo, keep the kms coming and the good mood!
How about you? Have you logged in any kms today for our R4aC cause?
