We couldn’t be more thrilled! We’ve just achieved half of our overall goal! Woohoo!
Here are some stats, so far:
- The Kanimambo challenge has 456 active runners!
- 172 runners have already achieved their individual goal of 80km! This is 31% of all athletes!
- 10 teams out of the 93 active teams have accomplished their team goals!
- We have achieved all of this in just 21 days of the challenge, which is exactly 23% of the overall challenge time!
Is this a sign that we can run more, walk more or help more? 💪
It’s time to remind ourselves that if we reach our overall challenge goal, we will be able to help 10 communities to have access to clean water and improve their hygiene and basic sanitation conditions. Unfortunately, one of the main reasons why people in Mozambique are always sick is because of the poor hygiene conditions in which they live in. Our objective as a company in the Kanimambo Challenge is to help protect these 10 communities by giving them access to clean water with specific water collecting and purifying buckets with taps, masks and soap kits for the whole community.
