{"id":864,"date":"2022-03-15T17:52:12","date_gmt":"2022-03-15T17:52:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.run4achild.com\/blog\/?p=864"},"modified":"2025-08-18T08:49:24","modified_gmt":"2025-08-18T08:49:24","slug":"school-day-in-brazil","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.run4achild.com\/blog\/index.php\/2022\/03\/15\/school-day-in-brazil\/","title":{"rendered":"Today is a day to Celebrate School in Brazil!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-style-default\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1584\" height=\"396\" src=\"https:\/\/www.run4achild.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/2.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-865\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>This day provides an opportunity to recognise the fundamental base of information taught to children. <strong>Brazil&#8217;s education system<\/strong> has had its share of setbacks, but it continues to have a positive perspective as the country grows and develops. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Education<\/strong> across the globe is a human right, as well as a public obligation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We all recognise that schools are a place where we can <strong>learn<\/strong>, <strong>grow<\/strong>, <strong>discover ourselves<\/strong>, <strong>experience life<\/strong>, and<strong> interact<\/strong>. These happy memories will remain crucial to preserve and push forward the ambition and enthusiasm that children have to build their lives. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this Xod\u00f3 Challenge, we are helping by donating <strong>school kits to the Quilombola communities of Maranh\u00e3o<\/strong>, in Brazil. There, education is different because it must take into account the <strong>cultural, social, as well as the economic values of these historical communities<\/strong> as reference points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-style-default\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1080\" height=\"1080\" src=\"https:\/\/www.run4achild.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-866\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>School Day must be celebrated<\/strong> because:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>It is important to bring the family and school closer.<\/li><li>The objective is to unite children, parents &amp; teachers.<\/li><li>The school must be a space for dialogue between knowledge and local reality, valuing sustainable development, work, culture\/values and the struggle for Quilombola rights to land and territory.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>We hope that we succeed in helping the <strong>children of the Quilombola communities of Maranh\u00e3o <\/strong>to have the opportunity to learn and develop. We also hope that we can continue to rely on you to bring a smile to their faces and to make a significant impact in their futures. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please keep on going!
