{"id":716,"date":"2021-12-30T15:16:22","date_gmt":"2021-12-30T15:16:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.run4achild.com\/blog\/?p=716"},"modified":"2025-08-18T08:50:26","modified_gmt":"2025-08-18T08:50:26","slug":"a-look-back-on-2021-for-run4achild","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.run4achild.com\/blog\/index.php\/2021\/12\/30\/a-look-back-on-2021-for-run4achild\/","title":{"rendered":"A look back on 2021 for Run4aChild!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-style-default\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1584\" height=\"396\" src=\"https:\/\/www.run4achild.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/you-did-it-2.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-728\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>2021 has been challenging in many ways, another year marked by the COVID-19 pandemic, along with natural and political issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It was an incredibly hard year for many, but we hope that 2022 will be better because we have you by our side.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year, we were also able to start a new chapter for R4aC that had been on hold previously due to the pandemic and we are so grateful for all of the hard work and dedication from our runners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Together we completed three incredible challenges. Like we always say &#8220;If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now that we have reached the end of this year, we want to share what we have achieved together. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>1106 runners <\/strong>reached their Individual Goals throughout the 3 challenges.<\/li><li><strong>1106 kids <\/strong>were helped. With that, we were able to donate <strong>307<\/strong> <strong>toy kits<\/strong> for Afghan Children this Christmas; <strong>357<\/strong> <strong>school material kits<\/strong> for Indian Children. <strong>442<\/strong> <strong>anti Covid-19 Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Kits<\/strong> for children in Mozambique to go back to school safely.<\/li><li>In total, <strong>91 teams<\/strong> completed their team goal.
